I have to confess, I covet a Mulberry Alexa. There, I said it. Come join me and share your handbag want. Preferably with links

Have been nosing on eBay at Alexa's. Even I wouldn't spend £700 on a used designer handbag that may or may not be genuine. Le sigh

I am coveting this at the moment, not sure I can justify it for a glorified nappy bag though...

Think I will stick with my Patrick Cox bargain man-bag instead.

Chanel 2.55 or YSL Muse for me.

Would also accept a Gucci Indy if pushed...

newchoos tis lovely isn't it, but I would never pay that sort of money for it..Confused ridiculous!! and step away from the Alexa....another Mulberry bag which has been copied and copied by the high street imo.....you know you can find better!

snowy love that chloe, i drool over the shape regularly!

Also coveting a Mulberry Alexa here, despite its excessive hipsterishness. It's just the right size, shape, colour, smart and casual and perfect! Would never spend that kind of money on a bag though.

That Hermes bag is truly gorgeous Tethersend, I daren't even ask the cost!

I keep looking at the Mulberry Daria, need to see it in real life and stroke it

I cannot justify that amount on a handbag but one day......

Chipstick, do you prefer your Taylor over the Alexa? I am trying to decide which to go for.

Report
chipstick10 · 15/09/2011 17:22

sphynx i dont actually own the Taylor yet i just want it so bad, im saving and hope to have it for xmas. I have read some reviews and people say the taylor is fiddly to get in and out of, well so is the Alexa. Dont get me wrong i like my Alexa but i dont love it if that makes sense. I think they Taylor looks a bit more grown up. Have you tried them in the shop?

I am saving too. I tried the Alexa and really, really like it, but worry that it is a stlye for the young and trendy. I also tried the Taylor and definately think it looks more grown up. It looks lovely in black and deer brown. The Taylor may be in the December sales, fingers crossed!

I know what you mean re the style of the alexa but hand held it can also look quite grown up.
