I have to confess, I covet a Mulberry Alexa. There, I said it. Come join me and share your handbag want. Preferably with links <rubs thinghs>

mythical Wed 14-Sep-11 22:11:22 in tan. or blush. or black. or anything

<nods approval>

Have been nosing on eBay at Alexa's. Even I wouldn't spend £700 on a used designer handbag that may or may not be genuine. Le sigh <dreams of having more money than sense>

My kind of thread.

madammecholet I googled that bag following your post on the other thread. It's absolutely gorgeous.

You are a temptress grin

They have Alexa's for £525 at Bicester

chipstick10 Thu 15-Sep-11 12:34:45

The Mulberry Taylor, i have got to have that bag.

NewChoos Thu 15-Sep-11 12:39:43

I would quite like this for my work christmas party

<dreams wistfully, more likely to buy more plastic stuff for DS>

Paschaelina Thu 15-Sep-11 12:43:17

I am coveting this at the moment, not sure I can justify it for a glorified nappy bag though...

Think I will stick with my Patrick Cox bargain man-bag instead.

Ambernj1 Thu 15-Sep-11 12:44:58

Chanel 2.55 or YSL Muse for me.

Would also accept a Gucci Indy if pushed...

madammecholet Thu 15-Sep-11 13:38:17

newchoos tis lovely isn't it, but I would never pay that sort of money for it..confused ridiculous!! and step away from the Alexa....another Mulberry bag which has been copied and copied by the high street know you can find better!

snowy love that chloe, i drool over the shape regularly!

NurseFleischerBaum Thu 15-Sep-11 15:31:24

Also coveting a Mulberry Alexa here, despite its excessive hipsterishness. It's just the right size, shape, colour, smart and casual and perfect! Would never spend that kind of money on a bag though.

tethersend Thu 15-Sep-11 15:54:03

I want this Hermes one

niminypiminy Thu 15-Sep-11 16:05:09

It's irrational I know, but I just want it

madammecholet Thu 15-Sep-11 16:20:28

Love that Hermes one, perfect tan imo.

Doyouthinktheysaurus Thu 15-Sep-11 16:21:38

That Hermes bag is truly gorgeous Tethersend, I daren't even ask the cost!

I keep looking at the Mulberry Daria, need to see it in real life and stroke it

I cannot justify that amount on a handbag but one day......

iarebaboon Thu 15-Sep-11 16:33:26

so much better than Alexa

chipstick10 Thu 15-Sep-11 16:53:48

I have the Alexa and its not that great so your not missing much, honest.

sphynx Thu 15-Sep-11 17:06:24

Chipstick, do you prefer your Taylor over the Alexa? I am trying to decide which to go for.

chipstick10 Thu 15-Sep-11 17:22:56

sphynx i dont actually own the Taylor yet i just want it so bad, im saving and hope to have it for xmas. I have read some reviews and people say the taylor is fiddly to get in and out of, well so is the Alexa. Dont get me wrong i like my Alexa but i dont love it if that makes sense. I think they Taylor looks a bit more grown up. Have you tried them in the shop?

sphynx Thu 15-Sep-11 19:01:10

I am saving too. I tried the Alexa and really, really like it, but worry that it is a stlye for the young and trendy. I also tried the Taylor and definately think it looks more grown up. It looks lovely in black and deer brown. The Taylor may be in the December sales, fingers crossed!

chipstick10 Thu 15-Sep-11 19:16:23

I know what you mean re the style of the alexa but hand held it can also look quite grown up.
