What is it with baby boy stripes?!!

I am trying to find a jumper/cardi etc for DS aged 22 months, on ebay, and it is all stripes! Like he is a 20yr old office boy or something.

I don't want stripes, I want cars on it, or tractors or diggers or fire engines, or animals, or funky birds or other cute toddler type things (i don't even mind thomas!) I want bright colours and fun things, not Little Man stuff...

Big bold fun stripes are fine, good even. It is this Duffer style thin stripe thing going on that I am not enjoying. Henry Lloyd stuff (i think that is the make I am thinking of), with trousers and white trainers, maybe a white or black shirt underneat, possibly v-neck .

DH keeps shouting at me because almost everything I buy for DS2 has either stripes or stars on it. If they are all just grey or similar they can just look like mini grown-ups which is silly, but I agree with Jojay stripes are way better than character stuff. DS1 is 3 and most of the stuff that he gets bought by people has some sort of Disney character on it.

k there are quite a lot of stripes too, but other nice stuff with dinosaurs and things on, or plain monsoon

Monsoon definitely although eBay may have more choice than in-store, I've found brand new monsoon boys stuff there. Baby boden also. Also, this one from Debenhams?

I also love stripes... the few things we've bought for the unborn baby are all stripes, stars or spots.

stars and spots are lovely. Stars in particular. And don't get me wrong, i do like stripes, just not the thin ones, it is the adult style I am disliking. I mean you don't see many adult males wearing spots or or stars do you?

And I do like a bit of mini boden, just not the price, not even on ebay. People are insane. I have sold several mini boden items for more than i paid for on ebay!

I am absolutely not into characters, I just mean I would prefer Thomas to Duffer or whatever it is called, I can do without the Octonaughts or whatever they are called and all that stuff. But I do like tractors, and animals. Because my little boy gets very excited when he wears them!

My fave stuff is blue zoo. and funnily enough my fave item owned.is stripes, but just two colours, and has a little star/animal on. not red/blue/white/back.

I like big bold patterns. And dungarees//all in ones. which is probably why I am struggling with jumpers!
