I love them! Just what Im always looking for and a fab price!

I would wear them with jeans, either tucked in or not.

Have they arrived yet? They look reasonably wide, do you think they would fit the wide of hoof and calf?

Wow bargain!! Might try to order a pair myself!

Like semper I would wear them with jeans too, probably tucked in over skinny jeans if they were wide enough. Maybe over leggings with a casual dress too.

Enjoy your new boots! Grin

Ive seen other pictures of them now and they seem to have really upturned toes?

TOTAL bargain aren't they. they are brand new as well. the ebay seller has a few more pairs for sale i think.

semper not sure, i saw them "in the flesh" in topshop last season and they don't seem to have? hope not anyway :o

thanks for the suggestions. not sure about jeans though, would they have to be black jeans though as am sure i have read on here that black boots / blue jeans are a style faux pas :o

Oh yes sorry I was thinking I would buy brown so would wear dark jeans with them.

Jeans and black shoes can look awful, it depends on the colour of the jeans and the style of the shoe/boots imo.

collected them this afternoon and they are FAB

semper i wouldn't say the toes turn up at all

lugsie they seem quite wide but i am small, size 8 and have quite skinny legs so there's quite a big gap and i tried them on with jeans. dunno if that helps :o

Have you managed to put the pics up yet?

If you get a minute will you measure the calf for me?

I bought these too. Total bargain. They arrived really quickly. I wore them for the first time today. I am size 8/10, have quite wide feet and not the skinniest calves and they fit fine, if a wee bit snug. The leather is quite soft so they may stretch. The toes do turn up a bit, which makes them quite bikerish, but to me they look good. I am wearing them turned up with black leggings, a flowery dress and cardi. Thinking about getting the same pair in brown if they still have them...

Ahh Im way beyond being a size 8-10 Sad

If you have a minute could you measure them when folded?

Report
thesoo · 15/09/2011 14:31

I rolled them right up and measured around the outside of the very top of the boots and it is 15.5 inches. Not sure if this helps? I can measure them at another point of you like? Or around the inside?

i just posted onmy own thread about these - seem wide - do your toes fall over a ridge though? i love them but this is spoiling them for me as if the insole is to short.........
