Ignore the way it's styled on the model. It's a great dress.

I can get away with a ten in some VW stuff but I don't like that - the colour is far too scary for me!

But am not exactly a 10 wink

While you're here remus, someone linked to this Boden red dress on another thread. Not wild about it, but every time I see a red dress now I have to find you grin

Nope, don't like that Boden one at all - tis v Chris de Blurgh.

I got a red stripey M&S one (in fact I am wearing it as I write) which is nothing at all like I wanted but I do quite like it. I still haven't managed to track down the orange Warehouse one.

But thank you, as ever, for thinking of me! smile

I will continue to link to red dresses for evermore grin

smile Okay - do you fancy adding grey ankle boots and a grey biker jacket to the list? smile

Message received and understood.

(but tell me more about the ankle boots- heel or flat? suede or leather?)

Leather / heel but only small and deffo not pointy / either slightly biker or maybe a bit Victorian / need to be v v comfortable and go with maxi skirts or trousers - and cost as little as possible so that I can also afford tan knee highs and the White Company dress that I've fallen in love with! Not much to ask then...

Too high?

Jacket 1

Jacket 2

I just wrote a huge reply and MN crashed on me.

Can't be bothered to do it all again but thank you for all the links. The final Clarks pair with the straps look like they might be worth a look at irl - they could be v v bad or quite good and I can't decide! I love the Topshop ones but they are much more casual than what I'm currently looking for.

Don't like any of the jackets but thanks for trying.

What sort of grey are you after? This says chocolate, but it looks grey...

Yes, I am now possessed. Bugger.

Gorgeous - I love it. But I can't afford it. sad

And I have just found an even more gorgeous and even more expensive one on Isabelle Oliver. sad sad

Don't exert yourself. Basically, I want a really lovely one and I can't afford a really lovely one, so I'd probably actually be better off getting a new denim jacket instead!

There's quite a few on ebay... I got my best ever leather biker jacket from <whispers> Tesco a couple of years ago. The leather is amazingly soft and it fits like a dream. Was £50.

You really need to get down to London and do some vintage shopping wink

tethersend Sat 10-Sep-11 21:31:02

Grey, biker and cheap... wink

Tesco link doesn't work.

ANY excuse to get down to London!

tethersend Sat 10-Sep-11 21:40:45

Sorry, try again Grey twill biker

Nope - computer he say, 'no.' Will have a gander on the tesco site now.

I found the twill biker, thank you. Tis okay-ish but I don't like those weird stringy laced bits at the sides.

What about this?

tethersend Sat 10-Sep-11 22:46:31

For that price you could get suede

Ooh quite like that too - but too brown! Hadn't thought of looking at Miss S so will do so now.

I have a leather jacket from there too (bit of a leather jacket fetish)... lovely quality.
