I seem to be looking for the impossible for 18-24 DD. I don't want tracksuit type bottoms or leggings or jeggings or skinnys, just a pair of more baby type trousers for everyday playing about in. The only ones I like so far are boden, everything else looks so grown up and fashionable, she is still a baby just about and needs trousers that a nappy fits under!

Gap has good, pretty, comfy toddler trousers, or at least they did a few years ago when I was looking for the them. Bit expensive, but they lasted well.

We swear by these. Pricey but lasting: DDUK gives you 20% off today.

Mumsnut do the girls boden stuff (instead of baby) have enough room for nappies? I bought some ebay cords and the rise is so tiny she can't wear them without a nappy bulging out at the back? DS has some boys ones and he loves them, I have to prize them off him to wash them! Will look at Gap, always forget about them somehow

Have you looked in primark? I got normal looking navy cotton trousers in there for my toddler dd. They only cost a few pounds and have lasted a few months so far. And they are big enough to fit a nappy underneath (I bought 18-24month size. Also got some cotton trousers in sainsburys which are not fashionable at all, just plain dark pink trousers with elasticated waist. Although, I think you just have to be lucky both in primark and in the supermarkets.

I also got some good trousers for dd in the boys section in h+m (styles were baggier than the girls section) and seemed more sturdy.

The tartan baggies always used to have room for nappies in our day.

The baby stuff goes up to 3-4 though, and there are some baggies there. Also these cutesters:

I know what you mean. I like JoJoMamanBebe e.g. these or these. Far from the cheapest but they have a buy 2 save £5 deal or there are usually discount codes floating around.
