Hair loss due to stress etc now regrowing_styling tips? anyone experienced the same?

My hair is now growing back after coming out over a short period of time. I was literally left with hardly anything. Now it is growing back i am left with short baby curls where as the rest of my hair is above the shoulder. Any styling tips.
