anywhere other than the houlihan ones? i cannot afford over £200 for a pair of trousers sad

and wondered if any of you lovely stylish ladies could help me find some? thats if my description makes sense? i am so crap at describing things blush

they must be low rise though as i have a weird body shape that cannot wear high cut trousers / jeans, they just look unbelievable shit on me.

Oasis had some in the summer. I am sure I read they were doing them again. I had them in olive and black, looked great and exactly what you've described.

How about these from zara?

orangina Wed 31-Aug-11 10:12:33

Or these from uniqlo?

(I bought some from next a few summers sgo and they looked great on to start with but lost their shape very quickly. So a big thumbs DOWN to next.....)

Zara ones are v nice but you need to try on a few pairs as even all teh same size ones vary!

Hi, these from Kookai at John Lewis look good.

When I read your message first I thought, yes, seen lots of these shopping at weekend, but when looking online, not so easy to find for some reason.

MistyMountainHop Thu 01-Sep-11 12:09:28

thank you!

the kookai ones are my favourite but to my annoyance they dont have any size 8 in stock, grrrr angry

I got some from <whispers> Sainsburys at the weekend. They're not particularly low-rise, but they're not armpit-huggers either.

ImeldaM Thu 01-Sep-11 14:36:54

size 8 envy,

herbaceous Thu 01-Sep-11 14:39:50

In fact the Sains ones a v similar to the Kookai ones (just checked Imelda's link). And a right bargain.

Couldn't tell you about the availability of 8s, though. envy

MistyMountainHop Thu 01-Sep-11 15:24:59

no need for envy i may be a size 8 but i am a weird shape and look shit in most stuff grin (see above)

There are some Houlihan lookylikeys in Sainsbos at the mo. I was admiring DD's childminder's pair and she proudly revealed that she'd got them from there for £16. They look pretty good, TBH and come in a range of colours.

WillPenn Thu 01-Sep-11 15:41:29

Whoops - just noticed I've repeated what Herbaceous said - nevermind it shows they really do look like Houlihans!

MrsCampbellBlack Thu 01-Sep-11 15:51:08

There were some houlihans on the outnet this week. Also look at revolve clothing's website - a lot cheaper to order from the US generally.
