And how do people think they'll hold up to typical winter weather?

Can you afford them?

Do you already have a pair of grey, suede, mid-calf, flat, casual boots?

They're suede and light coloured so will go really shitty in the rain.

I say get them and only wear them when it's dry. WANT is a very good reason for getting footwear.

I quite like them.

I've also just noticed on the codes thread that if you use BEFRIENDS at checkout it will give you 20% off Smile

You have to get them. I saw a coat in Desigual about 2 years ago. It was perfect. I didn't buy it, for the very simple, sensible, and logical reason that I already had two winter coats. I have never forgiven myself.

Oooh, good answers! I don't have any mid calf grey suede boots actually. And 20% off? That could make my decision easier!!!
I think I can afford them. Have spent a fair amount on DH's b'day present today, plus have a fortune to pay out for his do next week, and I'm about to go on mat leave (but my pay stays the same for a while). The money's in the account, basically, AND I get paid in 2 days....

oh I have to have them, don't I?!

I just made a stupid mistake!!! I ordered them, but asked for them to be delievered to the store thinking then I don;t need to worry about accepting delivery. Only I don;t get the discount that way, do I?!

I'm going to order them again to be delivered to home.....

They are lush! And with 20% discount it would be rude not to wouldn't it!

I'm going to have a new baby over the winter months so will have nooooo need at all for any nice new clothes, but every need for so good sturdy winter boots for all that trudging round trying to get bub to sleep. More than justified!!!!

They are quite nice - but will be rubbish in Winter imho as they'll get filthy at even a hint of rain.

I've had those boots on my list for a while, are they lovely irl? I'm really close to ordering them

Do it now while you get the discount! I've decided I'm not too worried about the winter, as they are actually fairly dark suede, and I think they've got that sloppy look that needs a bit of scuffing Smile
