I am currently working in London and am making up on the train, so hefting my make up bag with me, it is so bloody full I decided to empty it out tonight. There's loads. I never knew I carried so much stuff (and I have a box full of more make up upstairs)

Primer x 2
Under eye brightener primer
Eyebrow colour stuff
Kohl pencil
2 liquid eyeliner felt tips
Gel eyeliner and brush
2 x quad eyeshadows
Liquid blusher
Cream blusher
Powder blusher
2 bronzers
4 brushes
5 (!!) Juicy tubes
2 other lip glosses
Lip balm
Pencil sharpener
Preparation H

No wonder I can never find anything in the damn bag.

that is more make up than i own. in fact, probably more than i have ever owned

LOL at the preparation H, especially being applied on the train

I have no idea why I have got that in there <whistles>

I dare not contemplate how much make up I have got upstairs in my make up box.

Bloody fortune I have spent on the stuff.

I cannot think of anything I would like to remove from the bag because I may need it just in case.

Can I just ask what primer is for? <dunce emoticon> Any recommendations?

enjoyingscience Thu 18-Aug-11 17:48:26

gosh, I feel very low maintenance now. I probably should have felt like that anyway, given that I do my make up in the car when I get to work blush

I do share your lip gloss/balm enthusiam though, I can count four on my desk from here (must tidy desk emoticon).

Good lord woman. henry primer goes one before foundation, it, well, 'primes' the skin. Tesco Barbara Daly do a couple, both good, I like 'Glow up' it helps the make up go on, and gives a nice dewy look.

I have vitalumiere foundation
origins cheek stain blusher in the tiny tube
clinique extra light powder
eye brow pencil (dark brown)
dark grey eyeliner pencil for lower lashes only
two eyeshadows
black mascara
one coral coloured lip gloss
I have other lip balms - carmex usually - in various coat pockets and just lying around the house.

Thanks pootles - think I will be purchasing as been looking for something dewy too!

bibbity your eye brow pencil, where is it from and do you rate it? (If you don't mind me asking?)

After full routine with Dermalogica I wear:
Bourjois under eye concealer
MAC pressed powder
Eye shadow, I like body shop and number 7
Mascara liking rimmel presently
Lip balm. Burts bees is nice
Clinique lipstick. Favourite colours black honey and sweet honey
Though the Dermalogica is expensive, I never have to wear foundation or concealer and frequently just go out with lip balm on
