DD is 5. She has lovely blonde hair, which is just below shoulder length which she is growing long after having it bobbed last year. She used to have a straight across type fringe when she was a toddler, but I let it grow out because I didn't like it. She has told me that she doesn't like her hair going in her eyes all the time, which it does because all though it is clipped back it often falls out.
I don't want to have a proper fringe cut back in because it seems so boring and frankly doesn't suit her that much, but she does have a point about it getting in her eyes. Would a side swept fringe be ok on a 5 year old? I'm not sure whether it is abit grown up. She does have a natural deep left hand side parting anyway. If she does have it, would she need to have layers cut into the hair to make it fall in with the fringe and 'fit' IYSWIM?
I'm open to all suggestions and I can't seem to find a picture to illustrate what I mean.
