Selling LV through a consignment store?

Has anyone done this? I have a LV handbag I would like to sell and am considering using a consignment store. Any recommendations please, or ones to avoid.

It's a discontinuted multicolour Alma with dustjacket (stupidly threw away the box etc), if that helps

Do consignment stores exist in the UK? I see them mentioned on US sites a lot but have never seen one.

Sorry, had to ask DD1, it would be a US consignment company. Just wanted to know if anyone had any experience of them really :)
