how can I sleep on my back? Shallow and pathetic thread alert

In my on-going quest to stop time in its tracks, I am currently attempting to sleep on my back. I have realised that the side of my face I sleep on is heaps wrinklier! Shock

So. HOW do I sleep on my back? I roll over in the night - back onto my wrinkly face. Angry

If you sleep on your back, you'll snore - far more embarrassing than a few wrinkles imo Smile

MrsDmitri I sleep alone, so no worries there!

Pah, I would rather snore the house down than be wrinkly!

Don't satin pillows help prevent wrinkles? Or is that one of them rubbish rumours?

Peg clothes pegs down the sleeves of your PJ's

Cushion or pillow, by your hip, on the side you tend to roll over onto? That helped me during pregnancy (leg pain) to keep on my back. If I put something higher up I'd roll over and try to cuddle it to sleep! I still try to sleep on my back due to on going probs, it's so hard because I love to sleep on my left hand side.

Sew a cactus onto either side of your pillow.

If you do happen to roll over anyway, you get free DermarollerTM on that side of the face so everyone is a winner.

Side note, my face is okay but my fucking decollete is getting wrinkles

FFS

Re satin. Dunno if it works but just this week I bought some Dorma 350 thread count cotton sateen sheets (egyptian cotton) for le marital bed.
Iz gut.

I am having the exact same battle, to stop my décolletage getting wrinkly. I lie on my back for about 20 minutes, wide awake and sleepless, then turn onto my side and drop off. It's weird but I feel kind of exposed and unsafe sleeping on my back!

I can sleep on my back when I've had a drink, not sure how helpful that is to my skin though :o

sleeping in bra meant to be good for non wrinkled chest. I for one, cant wait to fling that thing off when I come in from work, never mind sleeping in it

I just want to look 23 for ever! Is that so unreasonable?

I sleep on my back, a weird thing going back to when I was 16 and convinced that sleeping on my side my my tummy saggy (I know!). I don't know how I trained myself to do it though, sorry :-(

not at all unreasonable - same here!

I kept a newspaper cutting a couple of years ago about a bra that was supposed to protect the décolletage during sleep - I'll look it out and google it. Might be time to try that!

On Jonathan Creek there was a guy with sleep apnoea who sewed a walnut into the side of his pyjamas.

Oh god is that what's causing my décolletage wrinkles? I am a side sleeper too.

Hmm does Botox work on decoll-wrinkles?
