I have a skinny pair from Karen millen ... Divine!!! Feel a bit of a man magnet in them actually, and I've been married 13 years!!!

Yes! But must be skinnies. Have been on the lookout for a good pair. The only nice ones I have seen were Michael Kors at big bucks. Need cheaper ones. They will be so handy

I still have my brown shakira pair , have kept in the hope of a revival! Lol! I just can't throw away some thing that cost that much money.

They're wonderful. Topshop did a pleather pair last year which are due back in & were easier to wear than my real leather ones. Very worth getting. River Island had a surprisingly good pair in recently too.

I wore mine loads last winter with plain wooly tops and loved them. They're everywhere on the catwalks this A/w too. I wear mine almost as a tights substitute.

Oh I am having a leather moment and quite fancy some pleather leggings as MM suggests. Have got a nice cashmere long cardigan and figure they'd look good with that and a silk top.

Worth a try.

Phew! Was worried with those no's at the start! Definitely looking at a skinny pair... Top Shop ones sound interesting...

nooooooo, only if they are protective clothing for work or austrian traditional dress.

do you have a penchant for looking like Axl Rose circa 1988, or maybe a DFS sofa?

I think it's a really personal thing - they'll work on some and not on others. But here's for something really controversial Wink - I think they look better on a woman with an arse!

Hmmmm I just think "Bono" when I read leather trousers. Or cock rock posturing.

The fact that they are from Next also give me cause for concern - have you seen them in a shop or just online?

However, despite my views I do think that with a size 12 figure you would look good in almost anything so why not if you like them?

Post some pics if you buy them!

If you have a leather sofa or car seats then no, otherwise go for it Smile

It's sooo muggy! I salute both your commitment to fashion and your ability to imagine forwards to a situation/time out of this particular weather.

If they suit you and your style then why not. It would be a crime against society if I were to go out in them though :o

Alpine I feel my arse may be too big, think I need to try them on...

The reason I went with Next is because they are more affordable...

So if I were to get said trousers, what shoes would I wear??

You can but try. :) I wouldn't go for as cheap as post, because technically this should be an item which could last 20 years. About the big bum thing, I think leather should be worn like a second skin, baggy leather is very divorcee wintering in tenerife. ;)

Shoes? My friend used to wear hers with non-fussy stilettos, plain black tee and big hair. She looked amazing.
