This bad boy
Was browsing in Boots today, wasting both time and money as I like to do, and I came across this. It was £9.99 and I had seen it before but resisted the urge, but was bored enough today and my basket was sparse enough that I decided to purchase. Well, glad I did, I love it!!!
Its a stainless steel thing (hard to describe, check out the link!) with no sharp edges but that you press and glide over your skin, and it sort of gently presses and removes the crud in your pores.
Obviously you could do the same thing with your fingers using the extraction technique they tend to use in facials, but I find that its easy to break the top layer of skin with your fingernails if you get overzealous, and this sort of does it for you so you can methodically sweep it slowly over your entire face (or poreish type areas like forehead, nose, chin, etc) and give yourself a good old hoover out.
I've just been playing around with it and my chin pores look much smaller and tighter than they were, simply because there is nothing in there! Yay!
Had to share my enthusiasm. Generally I don't rate tweezerman because their tweezers are bloody expensive and still go out of alignment like any cheap tweezer. But, for a tenner, this is no major investment and if you don't lose it, its a one off purchase really unlike tweezers and things which always go wrong eventually - this I can't see bending or breaking and you just can't go wrong if you have cloggy pores! I'd say use it in conjunction with an AHA type exfoliant and your skin could only improve.
