If you were wearing this dress what else would you wear?

this FC dress

I really like the style of the dress but it COULD border on being a little dull/drab so help me accessorize please.

What footwear/scarf/jacket would you put with it?

Also is wearing a wide belt around the middle a bit over now?

I'd wear a skinny belt rather than a thick belt. Would wear a skinny belt in bright yellow, coral, red, cobalt blue, gold or tan depending on the occasion. The dress is that plain it is actually very versatile - could be worn with black tights and blazer for work, bare legs and heels for night out or slouchy scarf, tights and flat boots for casual day look.

Mmmm not sure about that tbh - tis very nunnish and doesn't look as if it would be v flattering unless you are very, very boyish shaped.

The only way I'd consider it, personally, is to go really Art Gallery Black with it - ie black opaques, black ankle boots, black blazer and a chunky silver cuff.

I love that scarf! How would you 'arrange' it though?

It would look good with black footless tights ballet pumps no accessories though.I don't like 'snazzy' scarves with black always looks a bit old lady at a do.Unforgiving shape though but stunning if tall and skinny

Princess Anne is a style icon.

I would wear it with that scarf knotted on the side round the neck, skinny belt and vintage boots/high clogs.

Oh to be able to afford a dull dress for £120. It is nice for winter with some nice boots and chunky jewelery but quite expensive for what it is.

I think it will make you look much bigger than you really are on the bottom, so really needs a thin figure, if worried about how big things make you look.

I'm not in love with the dress personally - too dull in colour and style and I just don't see how it would flatter anyone, but I would go for a wide belt myself - I don't think they're over yet, seen a lot around in London with dresses and jumpsuits.

how can you be thinking about winter dresses when the sun is shining and we've only just started to get the shorts out and get our legs slightly tanned? Grin
