For the same money or a little extra you could probably buy a Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress (she is the Queen of the wrap).

When I was pregnant on the last one I bought mine second hand on e-bay and sold it back on e-bay and got all my money back!

The fabric is excellent and was extremely happy with the quality.

I have it in blue, worth it, gorgeous. Having bought most of my maternity dresses from IO years ago (when they only did maternity stuff), they lasted through 2 pregnancies and even sent them to my sister in Oz who used them and they still looked new.

Although only problem I have with the dress is the massively long ties. Am petite and there seems to be loads of extra fabric. Was thinking of getting a dressmaker to cut one of them a little bit shorter so not so much fabric when tied. But apart from that I would definately buy another one.

I also bought the silver ruched dress, very fitted but also makes me feel like a million dollars (with the right underwear to cover any lumps and bumps). Happy shopping!

I have a lovely IO ruched dress in blue but thought their customer service was absolutely rubbish! Would not buy from them again for this reason they did not value my custom at all.!

It's this one in the really vibrant electric blue. At least it looks really vibrant there but it looks more like your average royal blue in the Liz Jones pic.

Are the super long ties long enough to wrap around twice?

I've just placed my first IO order - well, at those prices it'd be rude NOT to. Got a wrap top, a tunic and a wrap dress all for 103 euros and all maternity. Fantastic prices! :)

RamblingRosa - the ties are very long and they do look a big weird wrapped around twice, spoils the effect on the front, as I did try that. Might just have to live with it. Also I would say the colour is more purple than blue!

Just received my dress, I would say indigo certainly not electric blue is the colour and I have to get another size now as it ties somewhere around my back!
Postage for exchanges have to be paid for and I'm struggling with the thought of paying more money for a dress that still might not fit.Hmmmmm. What size is yours Sandgroper and is it baggy on the arms or tight?

Oh no! Don't say that! DP has just gone to pick mine up from Post Office for me today. Is the dress the wrong size or just the ties? Indigo sounds quite nice.

I don't know if a smaller size will make any difference with the ties. Mine is a Size 10 (C I think), arms are a bit too long but I can live with that but they aren't too tight. I am 5ft and normally an 8-10 but after discussing it with them decided on a 10 instead of an 8, was worried it might be a bit too tight around the tummy and show my lumps and bumps.

Know what you mean about exchanges, I had been lusting after this dress for weeks when I decided to just go for it, then hoping that I had made the right choice.

That is why I thought I could just get one of the ties cut shorter as it fits everywhere else. Though I have yet to wear it, other than admire it in front of the mirror :)

RamblingRosa - I think it is just the ties not the dress size as it is fine everywhere else. Not going to send it back as a faff and just going to live with it! My maternity ones were the same, maybe they just make long ties! Let me know how you get on.

I don't mind the ties, and know the arms will be long but actually do like the colour even though it's not what I expected.
I got a D (UK12) and am a 10/12 as I didn't want it stretched and clingy, but it seems a little baggy all over. Think I have sized up instead of sized down as it's a standard size 12.

I've finally got mine and I like it. I like the colour. I like the fit (although I'd say they're cut on the big side). The ties are long but I can either do it in a ginormous bow at the side or I can wrap it round twice and tie.

The only bit I'm unconvinced by is the high not-quite-a-collar bit at the neck.

I like the neckline because I have a few wrap dresses that sit on the shoulders and it's a struggle to get them to properly wrap across my 32Es. Just had to retire my DVF for this very reason.
