Dressing Gowns for children...

...all seem to be made from 100% polyester! Where are the 100% cotton towelling types? DD tends to get smelly underarms with polyester nighties so tend to avoid those. Bought lovely thick cotton dressing gowns for DD and DS but they really are too small now and was hoping to buy similar in the near future. Any ideas? Oh and why are all nighties made of polyester and pyjamas made of cotton?

They only have 2 in the sale atm and 1 is sold out and the other isn't available in DD's age. Perhaps I am looking at the wrong time of year.

Saw some white towelling dressing gowns with pink (gingham)? trim in John Lewis girls dept a couple of weeks ago - was hoping to find a boys equivalent but they were all polyester fleece. I can't find it on their site but it wasn't in the sale.

I've always bought nice towelling dressing gowns for DS from Boots or M&S. The type that only has the belt at the front, so it doesn't keep getting too long on one side and too short on the other side, so it starts from each side.

I bought DS a lovely red, white and blue striped one from John Lewis in December. 100% cotton.

Boden nighties are cotton, as are White Co. Although, with Boden, beware the ones that come in packs of 2, as they tend to be cheaper, and therefore polyester.

The dressing gowns they have at the moment are from JL, so was surprised that they only have polyester ones on their site. I like the Verbaudet ones but I may wait a while before I buy as I suspect the choice increases nearer Christmas.
