Are Garnier under eye roller things any good??

I have constant dark circles under my eyes. Have used touche eclat and bourjois imitation which are ok at covering but not ideal (bit too bright/obvious).

Has anyone used the Garner under eye roller pen thingies? Are they any good? Do they actually help to reduce dark circles or just cover them up?

Any other reccs of other products I could try also gratefully received :)

Have tried the Garnier roller one which has a tint in it - it's ace and better than Touche Eclat IMO. Not sure it makes any long-term diff though. Am also trying an Elemis eyecream at night - and still no diff despite rave reviews!

Yes is fab. Feels lovely and cool going on and is best at covering under eye circles that I've ever tried.

Not used the garnier things but Benefit Erase Paste is a great under eye concealer (and I have permanent purple smudges under my eyes). It's expensive but lasts for ages as you don't really need much. Use your finger to apply, not the spoony thing it comes with.. but let the girls at the benefit counter apply it for you to see if you like it!

It was recommended here on a recent thread so I bought it, and it's excellent! feels nice and covers dark circles well.

The rollerball is lovely and cooling. I think I might try the non-concealer one as well, as the only drawback is if I roller for too long I end up with far too much concealer on.

Superdrug currently have it half price!

I find too much goes on if I use the roller, so I use a brush which kind of defeats the object, but it is a good concealer.

Thanks for the feedback. Might have to pop to Superdrug tomorrow if it's on offer. I do fear I might get addicted to nice cool feel of the roller; my eyes are so tired feeling at the moment so that sounds delightful :)

I suffer from permanent dark circles as I am so pale. I use the Garnier roll (the fair/2 colour) one during the day and for evening or really tired days the Benefit Erase Paste which never seems to run out. I also recommend Laura Mercier too.

Try tired eye serum from This Works to combat dark circles. You'll still need a concealer (I like Laura Mercier too) but I think it has helped with my dark circles since I started using it a few weeks ago.

The coverage for the Garnier roll on is great (it doesn't give you that weird white eye mask that touche eclat does), but IME it does sod all to get rid of the dark circles in the first place.
Erase paste is also great for covering them up, and you need hardly any at all.
Does anyone know of any other creams that work to get rid of the circles? I've tried Clarins (no difference) and No.7 (no difference). I seem to dimly remember that Eye Con by Benefit helped a little, but what I need is a miracle cream that will stop me looking like a zombie.

Ok, popped to superdrug and got one for just over £5 - bargain. Impressed with the coverage on my first go, much better than I was expecting.

Like iceandslice, it looks like I'll have to look for something to actually get rid of the nasty panda circles themselves though. I drink a fair amount of water, could get more sleep but by no means deprived so I think it must be my lucky genes... any other tips for products or other ways of getting red of the damn things?

Feedback: very good! Had a few comments that I look 'well' this weekend and haven't done much else different (except maybe pig out more ) so I'll take that as good feedback. Loving the roller thingy!

Sorry to be the voice of doom but if you've had the dark circles all your life (ie. they're not caused by lack of sleep), then you can't get rid of them. A doctor I know says the only thing that can be done is surgery but it's cosmetic and not 100% likely to work. No amount of water / sleep will change them if you've always had them.

That said, the Armani concealed is fab! It is pricey (around £30) but high pigmentation and only needs a tiny amount. Lasts ages as a result. And they've so many colours that you can find a really good match for your skin tone.

I can report back that it is great, ok doesn't rid me of the bags and purpleness completely but looks quite good IMO :) best fiver I've spent in a while :)
