anyone seen any? Preferably cropped or for short and stumpy people.

Boden usually do some in their autumn/winter range.

What for, ridiculing?

Karbea Mon 18-Jul-11 17:42:16

rightup... haha! No.... I quite like these mih ones, but I reckon I might bore of them... So thought a cheaper alternative might work...

Cattleprod Mon 18-Jul-11 17:58:58

Are you planning on joining this lot?!!! grin

Karbea Mon 18-Jul-11 18:11:22

Ok, ok, I'll stop looking for them! Haha!

psiloveyou Mon 18-Jul-11 18:16:24

If you are a size 6 and at least 5.10" you might, just might be able to carry off blue velvet trews. Otherwise, forget it. They will never work. Sorry.

tulpe Mon 18-Jul-11 18:24:02

I agree with psiloveyou. They are really not going to be a good look on shorter people. I am only 5'6" and would consider trying them on......but not particularly hopeful of looking svelte and long-legged in them.

I like skinny velvet trousers and according to the glossies there be lots coming in store in the next couple of months.

MrsCampbellBlack Mon 18-Jul-11 18:26:38

There will be lots I meant.

There be lots makes me sound like an extra from The Archers.

TapselteerieO Mon 18-Jul-11 18:42:35

Good have them at £59 - £89 (I am on my phone so link is a hassle) shopstyle might be worth a look too.

MrsCB - I would love to listen to the episode of the Archers where they are discussing the upcoming A/W trends and velvet trousers!

TapselteerieO Mon 18-Jul-11 19:17:45

I meant Yoox not good, I didn't look to see what colours, it will be tricky finding them in petite if you really want navy velvet. Have you looked at Asos they have petite flares? The ones I saw were brown, but new stuff is coming in all the time.

It would make a pleasant change from emma's moaning wouldn't it? Although not sure Underwoods do much in the way of high fashion wink
