Need wide fit shoes for a go with dress.....will these kill it???

vernier Mon 18-Jul-11 14:16:52

I think they are "nice". hard to tell w/o seeing you and/or your dress, though.

madammecholet Mon 18-Jul-11 14:18:39

granny shoes i'm afraid..

PaintedToenails Mon 18-Jul-11 14:18:52

No I don't think they are Granny Shoes at all! I think they'll be perfect for a wedding as they look really comfortable as well. Still, what do I know, I still insist on wearing the most ridiculous heels for things like that....who cares if I can't feel the middle toes on my feet for the next 6 weeks!

Go for it, they look good!

ifancyashandy Mon 18-Jul-11 14:23:13

Um.... Not so nice I'm afraid. They look a bit cheap and grannyish. Sorry.

Helltotheno Mon 18-Jul-11 14:23:46

I'm not a fan of mid-high heels on sandals so for that reason, and that reason only, they wouldn't be for me. Otherwise they look appropriate for a wedding, esp if the colour goes with your dress, and if they're comfy on you, I don't see why you wouldn't go for them....

Oh no they are horrid - a pruchase you will live to regret. Plainer and higher!!

ChaoticAngelofGryffindor Mon 18-Jul-11 14:36:51

New Look do wide fit shoes/sandals. May be worth a look if you decide against those.

Bunsouttheoven Mon 18-Jul-11 14:42:55

They are, would go lovely with liver spots thoughwink

BelleDameSansMerci Mon 18-Jul-11 14:45:45

Sorry... Not good. Probably comfortable though.

Next do wide fit shoes, and I recently got a pair of wide fit sandals from - whisper - Marisota and they are pretty nice. I don't really care for the pair you have there. There is definitely better available.

Jammygal Mon 18-Jul-11 15:12:21

what do you all think of these???? new look

pointydog Mon 18-Jul-11 15:22:55

The new look ones are much much nicer.

AnnThology Mon 18-Jul-11 16:50:24

why are you buying such dull dhoes

Oblomov Mon 18-Jul-11 17:59:02

Very grannyiash, I am afraid. I have very very wide feet. Seriously they are nearly as wide as they are long !!
New look, especially their wedges are good for me:
They have a whole wide feet section, if that helps.

Helltotheno Mon 18-Jul-11 18:44:07

The new look ones look nicer, though far too weddingy for my taste, and they'll be hideously uncomfortable after a day (if in doubt, stick with leather!). Tis up to you op, I doubt either shoe will kill the outfit unless people are shoe-spotting all night smile

RichTeaAreCrap Mon 18-Jul-11 18:58:34

granny shoes i am afraid. The New Look ones are marginally better but still not great
