Oh very dear

Far far more offensive if you don't look at the model's pretty face and just imagine it on the average school run mum

BulletWithAName Sun 17-Jul-11 10:18:45

WTF indeed! There is NO excuse for those trousers!

smartyparts Sun 17-Jul-11 10:22:23

Beyond wrong

smartyparts Sun 17-Jul-11 10:25:30

Having a laugh, surely?

TheMonster Sun 17-Jul-11 10:28:01

My mum used to have trousers like that in the 80s.

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit Sun 17-Jul-11 10:47:36

who wears a gilet these days?!

Helltotheno Sun 17-Jul-11 11:41:48

Is it wrong that I think that fur gilet has a special charm all its own?!

The rest is fug in the extreme.....

TattyDevine Sun 17-Jul-11 11:46:36

OMG that lady-tux is just cringeorama

tulpe Sun 17-Jul-11 12:38:48

Agree with all. However, the blouse she is wearing with that gilet is quite nice and I would buy that. Shame it is polyester.....

mittenkitten Sun 17-Jul-11 13:25:48

Is the lady tux with the bow tie supposed to evoke Janelle Monae? confused

anyideas Sun 17-Jul-11 15:51:19

I love that tux! Hate the shirt.

hippopoo Sun 17-Jul-11 16:45:40

smartypants - those furry boots are the ugliest thing I think I've ever seen!

papermate Sun 17-Jul-11 16:49:09

what are those baggy trousers about - though i do like the top!

BelleDameSansMerci Sun 17-Jul-11 16:51:37

I used to have trousers like those in the 80s too... The wide ones not the flowery ones. I quite liked them blush

steben Sun 17-Jul-11 16:53:27

This is why I have given up on Next!

pantaloons Sun 17-Jul-11 16:56:39

Perhaps they should just put all of the above in the sale now and have done with it!

Although I do quite like the really wide navy trousers, they just aren't something I'd ever feel right have the opportunity to wear.

MumblingRagDoll Sun 17-Jul-11 18:25:54

I like the fluffy jumper. Maybe not in purple...but mohair is gonna be BIG soon.

papermate Sun 17-Jul-11 18:31:02

having just browsed the homeware - that red flower print is now available in every room!

porcamiseria Sun 17-Jul-11 19:02:36

next is fucking VILE

BitOfFun Sun 17-Jul-11 19:08:33

I hate mohair. Little bits get trapped in your eyelashes and bug you.

smartyparts Sun 17-Jul-11 19:16:07

Now I'm on the homeware.

This is both chic and understated

Deaddei Sun 17-Jul-11 19:25:12

I loathe the homewards. Tea lights, canvas prints of crap and monstrous prints.
I got my directory yesterday and have trawler through it with big sighs...I confess to buying their tall trousers simply because they are long. Their jeans are shit........

Deaddei Sun 17-Jul-11 19:25:48

Homewares even.
Wine kicking in.

oneofsuesylvesterscheerios Sun 17-Jul-11 19:31:44

Dh had one of those fluffy jumpers when he was 18.
Wonder if next will be doing the men's dungarees and thick woolly socks and a fishermans cap as well so he can complete the look this AW11?

AnnThology Sun 17-Jul-11 19:40:07

i rather fancy this coat with skinnys and my wedge "dessert" boots
