Where can I sell my Mulberry Roxanne?

I bought a Mulberry Roxanne bag a while ago and I love the design of it. It's such a beautiful bag... But I used it only once or twice and it's now just at the back of my wardrobe. And then my DH got me a Mulberry Mitzi Hobo and that is a lot more me and I use that all the time. I want to sell it but don't want to go down the ebay route as I think there's too many fakes on there and also, I don't want to risk anyone making a chargeback or anything stupid like that after buying it!

I'm raking my brains as to where else I can sell it. I bought it from a London store but regrettably never kept the receipt. It's still got its dust bag and care card. Can I tempt any one of you ladies with it? Grin Don't even want a great deal for it (around £250-£300 mark) and it's in really mint condition as you can see from the pics. Happy for anyone to take it into a Mulberry shop to verify! If I can tempt no one here with it, where can I sell it? Any ideas? I just want someone to love it... Confused

My gorgeous but unloved bag

if you do a search on the purse forum in the mulberry section, they have a list of trusted sellers - reputable agencies which will sell your bag, and take a percentage - can't remember how much now.

Are you sure you wouldn't regret selling it? Even if I didn't use a beauty like that I'd hang on to it and have a look every so often. I have a wardrobe full of bags, I just can't bring myself to get rid of any, none of them are cheap either. If I hadn't just spent £300 on a bag I would have made you an offer, I'm really sorry that I can't. Hope you find a good home for it.

I will have a look at the purse forum. Thanks faustina.

Thecatsmum I've had it a while now and can't bear to sell it. But we just bought a new house and I just think if I haven't used it by now, I really should let it go. Also, I have two little boys now and a bag like that just isn't practical. I don't have to sell it so will keep it (and take it out to admire now and then!) if push comes to shove. Grin

I also suggest the purse forum. I used it when I recently bought a fitzrovia. You can still sell it on ebay and make the money yourself but I think you can link in the thread to the purse forum confirming it is authentic.

angel1976 - that is truly a beautiful bag.

I have a purple roxanne that I keep for good too - couldn't bear to part with it though - think i would regret it too much.

you don't need to start a new thread to get it authenticated. "authenticate this" is a section on its own, and anyone can post. Read the rules - they're very strict about including photographs etc etc. You can't actually post it yourself - it has to be someone who wants to buy the bag - and I would urge anyone thinking of buying your bag to do this. No offence meant Angel, but quite a high percentage of roxannes up for sale are fakes, and they all say they have the care card and dustbag but unfortunately not the receipt. It's free, and you already have great photos.

faustina No offence taken. If I was doing the same, I would get it authenticated too and I have no problems with anyone doing it as I know it's the real deal! Wink
