My niece is starting reception in September. My dsis has just been informed that they need navy blue wellies as part of the winter uniform. The school do not sell them, the uniform shop do not sell them and we have both been on the hunt on the net for an age this morning to no avail except for Hunter boots which are stupid money for boots that will be outgrown quite quickly.
Please help!! TIA

Have you tried cheaper shops like Wilko or Primark. Supermarkets stock plain wellies also.
Could also try ebay and search navy wellies size xx.

Try these
Amazon
or ebay?
Very difficult, agree Hunter are way to pricey for a child wellies to be kept at school! Think someone needs to point this out to the school. Good old Woolies would have had navy wellies Grin

Thanks for the links Mumelie. The school is uber fussy and they cannot have any badges etc on.

I'm sure someone's already jumped in with this, but state school primary's can ask that pupils wear uniform but it's not actually compulsory. They can't do anything to you if you don't find them. Personally I'd go back to the school and demand request that they locate a supplier for you. It's incredibly rude on their behalf to insist on a particular piece of clothing and then not actually tell you where you can buy it.

OTOH. It's July. You might find that nearer Autumn the Uniform shop and various other places might start stocking them. Is it likely that your niece is going to need them from from the very first day of school. I understand the desire to get it all right and get it all now, but I think in this case your sister might need to to just relax a bit and wait until nearer the time.

Still think the school is very cheeky though.
