Has anyone tried the new ModelCo Fibre Lash Brush on False Lashes??

I bought some a couple of weeks ago. V impressed. Takes a couple of goes to nail the technique, but once you have that down, the effect is v flattering and v lengthening.

The girls in my local Space NK asked me today if I had extensions, which I think is fairly indicative of how good this product is. (incidentally, I have in the past had extensions, and for me, this effect is the same, but doesn't ruin yr lashes like regular extensions).

What I dont understand is why it's so expensive- looks like mascara and flocking to me. Does the flocking get in your eyes howabout?

No, the fibres don't get in your eyes if you look down when applying. They do look like they would really irritate if a fibre did go in your eye, but it happened to me (before I read the tip about looking down) and it didn't hurt.

I agree, it is an expensive product when you put it like that, Skye! However, it is effective, so that (kind of) justifies the cost for me.

I use a lash comb directly after applying (as I would with any mascara) to give a more natural, feathery affect. Spider lashes are not a look!

I tried it and had to take it off straight away as the fibres completely irritated my eyes!

interesting...I tried to try it but for hygiene reasons I can't. They should really sort out a way of trying it for that price.

Oohhh, I'm intrigued now! It does seem such a lot without seeing it on someone though. Do you just take it off with normal eye make-up remover?

There are reviews on the Boots website I read them and they weren,t very impressive. That was before the mascara was launched so may have better reviews now .

I've got it and it's good but no better than the other mascaras you can get that have the white stuff on one end (can't think of any atm tho)

Not worth the price imo but then I am a bit of a cheapskate

They were trialling it in my local boots recently. Glad I didn't buy it. But then if I had and hadn't liked it I'd probably have written to the company and sent it back. £35 is a bit of a risk!

Aye it's shit.

The white bits are 'fibres' which irritate eyes.

Tbh it's ok as a 'night out' mascara, but no where near as good as false eye lashes.

Just put some mascara on, rub some cotton wool over it while still wet, then bung a load more mascara on top! That'll be £35 for that tip please!
