Ok I have bought the dress dress

and the shoes shoes

What can I wear on the top????? and any ideas for a bag pref clutch bag to blend......don't really want to spend huge amount now ;)
Thanks in advance x

Please please you cannot wear those fugly shoes with that beautiful dress!!. If you cannot do heels then even a pair of low heeled courts would be better. A nude clutch would be lovely.

Are they really that hanging? I thought they were nice. blush
I have prolapsed disc so cannot do heals sad

I think you should go for a more elegant mid-heel court shoe, or even a metallic sandal. The ones you've chosen may be a bit too clumpy for the dress. Something like this if you can't wear high heels?

And to answer your original post, I'd get a wrap if it's cold.

EEK I agree, I have championed that dress all summer, it looks amazing on, but you really cannot wear clompy shoes with it.

I'll go and have a look for something else.

FebreezeYourJeans Mon 11-Jul-11 11:28:59

are these too high?

Jammygal Mon 11-Jul-11 11:34:13

Thanks for all your help x
I like the KG shoes only thing is a bit expensive for my pocket atm (especially after clomp shoe purchase!
Can you help me find something a bit lighter on the pocket ;)

I agree, it would be a travesty to wear those shoes with that dress, sorry. What about a low wedge heel?

Jammygal Mon 11-Jul-11 19:08:34

DoraJarr Mon 11-Jul-11 19:20:16

DoraJarr Mon 11-Jul-11 19:20:39

( original ones)

amothersplaceisinthewrong Mon 11-Jul-11 19:23:35

Dress lovely, first pair of shoes OK if you are about 65 but never with that dress. They are dire. High court shoes, maybe in nude, personally I would go for navy suede.

Jammygal Mon 11-Jul-11 19:54:29

Did I fail to mention - I am 67 (only kidding!).
Shoes are honestly a lot better than the pic - but I am not going to wear them with the dress (I promise!)

pink4ever Mon 11-Jul-11 20:09:23

No sorry but please do not delude yourself about the shoes-it is not a horrible pic they are just horrible.Full stop. I am saying this for your own good.

MissBeehiving Mon 11-Jul-11 20:19:23

Those shoes are heeedious. You might as well wear wellies. Infact wellies would be better.
