Is this dress to stripy for a wedding..?

Got this coming for a wedding abroad (30 degrees plus).

www.asos.com/Full-Circle/Full-Circle-Silk-Stripe-Mini-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=1527824&SearchQuery=full%20circle%20dress&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Multi

Love the cut and fact that it's silk.

Worried it's too stripy and 'patterny' as I was thinking of a bold plain colour (blue/purple/pink - I have dark hair and mid tone skin) but somehow drawn to it!

Any views much appreciated...

no, i think that's okay.
if you're worried about it being too busy, you could team it with a plain cardi.

Thanks guys. Really like the cut as a lot of shorter dresses around this summer have quite slaggy necklines (ie low cut!) Was thinking of some bright but plain colour shoes too - maybe a fuschia colour - to pull out one of the colours in the dress.

LOVE the dress- don't sully it with a cardi.

I think a neutral shoe with a hint of colour would work best- like these

That's a good idea. It will be pretty warm so I don't think a cardie will be needed till the night (yessss).

I was thinking about these blue ones or perhaps these more muted ones I guess it would be more sensible to wait till the dress actually turns up...I seem to spend way too much time ordering online then trekking back to post office to return hasty purchases, damn online shopping.
