Help - I haven't been on a proper night out for years, need an outfit

Going for a big night out for my friend's birthday this weekend - drinks, dinner then club. I have no idea what to wear, help me please! What do 35 year olds wear when they go out?

I am 5ft 2, size 10/12.

I don't know what 35 year olds wear, but my mom is 50 and she wears dresses, skirts, trousers the works
You can wear anything! As long as you wear it with confidence, you'll be fine!
But there are two outfits nobody can go wrong with- an LBD or a white shirt with a sexy pair of blue jeans and heels. Funk it up with nice makeup and tasteful jewellery.

oh, poor babyocho, you really haven't been out in a long time. LBD is little black dress. I would add to list of things you could wear - black trousers with a nice shiny top. Have a really great time.

Don't worry Other than maybe shorts you can wear anything that looks nice on you when you try it on. Make it festive with accessories. PM me anytime for makeup tips and outfit suggestions.

Not got any accessories yet but i'm thinking a few gold bits should do.

btw i'm 29 5ft5 and also a size 10 ish

Thanks ladies, DD is at nursery tomorrow so I think i will hit the shops.

Like the jumpsuit, do I need to wear heels with a jumpsuit?

Yes, heels look great with a jumpsuit. Or you can wear flat tie-up sandals. I'll try to find some nice stuff and post the links here.

I got the low wedge this morning, thank you mumatron!

And a LBD from Monsoon. Annoyingly I cannot find it on their site, and not sure how to accessorise it. It's got a wide (gypsy?) neck, which is crocheted. Hum, let me try and take a photo of it.
