HELP PLEASE - I'm going to a wedding on Saturday, I have nothing to wear! :(
(14 Posts)The children are sorted, DH is sorted but I have nothing to wear and only 3 days to find something
I don't mind what style as long as it hides my tummy!
bump
Need so much more info;
dress size? colour? maxi/on knee? do you have good arms? age?
I'm 40, fair haired and skinned. Wouldn't want sleeveless and the shortest length would be just above the knee. Would consider maxi. Don't mind colour except yellow.
Oasis have got some really pretty dresses in their sale McDreamy - as have Debenhams (check out the wedding with glamorous SIL thread for some inspiration).
What is your price range?
Maybe £100ish, less would be good!
OK nearly there, size?
14/16 depending on the shop.
Then it has to be this phase 8 beauty again! Have been recommending to everyone, only because I have never seen my curvy size 16 sister look as beautiful and slim and elegant as when she wore this;
honestly it's divine
But out of stock
Oh hell! That's happened as of today! Will look some more
Thank you! i could get used to this S&B thread
Phase eight has a lot of nice dresses in the sale and new season stock. Definitely worth a look there.
This one: www.johnlewis.com/274153/Product.aspx
I have this one: www.johnlewis.com/210005/Product.aspx which looks fab with a black bolero, fine mesh fishnets and heels.
Phase eight has nice shrugs / boleros but I got a plain black cotton knit one from New Look which was a lot cheaper and looks good.
Thank you - bought a Phase Eight dress - not in the sale though . Wedding was fab!
