Going into town with a group of friends for a birthday the theme is 'sexy' you get the idea....

being post baby im definetly not feeling sexy however im no party pooper and relish any chance to dress up!

things are a bit tight atm but ive got a blue corset left over from a previous fancy dress party (the theme was australia as a friend was emigrating so doesnt really fit this occasion!)

I also have a black tutu from another party which could go nicely with it so im thinking of putting the 2 together but any ideas what i could be?? willing to find (cheap!) accessories to make it more obvious but im pretty stumped!

any ideas??

thanks! x

A tutu and a corset is really not sexy though!

Have you not got a plain black dress to do Audrey in Breakfast At Tiffany's maybe? You'd only need a cigarette and holder to accessorise it.

Or if you could get your hands on a red dress (charity shop maybe) and a wig you could do Jessica Rabbit?

Or Uma in Pulp Fiction - that should be quite easy to do.

Or a White dress and wig for Marilyn Monroe?

I think it's more trashy sexy than sophisticated sexy- am I right?
If so I think the tutu and corset will be great! Get fishnet stockings if you're brave enough or tights just as good. You can wear fishnets on your arms too, looks nice and slutty :)
Great hair, loads of make-up and a few lambrinis, you'll be all set! Enjoy!

I went to a fancy dress last night as Katy Perry. Tight black dress, ample bosom on display, blue long wig, cherry necklace and cherry hair grips, red cinch belt, red sky scraper heels and lots of blue eye makeup, red gloss...

I had a GREAT night...!!Grin

exactly! trashy, ann summers-y, 'really need a drink to be brave enough' kinda thing

katy perry sounds like a fab idea! bet you looked great Grin

my friends going as a 'sexy sailor' and ill bet therell be nurses, pilots, school girls- the usual, you get the idea!

a friend suggested i could be a fairy so id just need to buy wings so im thinking about that. also ive got an 'army' tutu so maybe with a black vest i could be and army girl...ooo decisions!

so excited! this is my first night out in ages Grin

Thanks Grin ive done army girl before (pre-baby though!) so ive got everything for it

my friends just told me that her party (a different party) is now fancy dress so now i have 3 fancy dress parties in a week! ive not been out for months!! im going to try and recycle costume a little, providing i can wash them quick enough!

for the one on the 16th(the newly announced one) i think ill use the blue corset and be a peacock

for the one on the 22nd im sorted, thats the australia one

and for the one on the 23rd ill do army girl

god this is gonna kill me!

thank god dd (3mo) has started sleeping upstairs by herself and sleeping through! that and i have free babysitters!!

For the army girl, instead of the vest, why not just use two belts to hide your nips, jodie marsh style? V sexy indeed! :)
