eyebrow disaster - help!

dear all, please help me. i have basically killed off my left eyebrow Shock. this is not my greatest look, needless to say. i've always had very bushy luxuriant brows (sobs nostalgically) which i never valued at all nor gave much thought to. BUT for some reason, about a year ago, i decided to get them waxed - on impulse. (always a mistake!) i don't think the girl was very experienced and all in all they looked a bit...odd. i then compounded the problem by attacking them without really thinking about it and in a most imprecise way on a regular basis, until one day i realised that i had great gaping holes in the left one. eek! months later, these have proved resistant to prayer, cajoling and even rapidlash serum. sigh. now i have to use this weird brow powder stuff from the body shop every day. what can i do?? do i have to succumb to scary tattooing??! is there no alternative? i am usually low maintenance and dread anything too invasive!!! any suggestions welcome!

I don't have any answers but I wanted to offer sympathy. I don't understand why eyebrows act this way. They don't seem to follow normal body hair rules do they? How come a couple of little overenthusiastic pluckings and you have gaps yet after years of zealous plucking I still need to pluck the strays between mine. Cruel irony. Good luck getting an answer from someone more knowledgeable than me.

No real advice except to pencil in the gaps. I pencil my brows in every day and have done for years. I have very pale, and rather overplucked (due to my mother nagging me from about age 12 to pluck them - but not actually showing me how!) brows, but have found a good light brown pencil from Rimmel. A little practice, et voila, nicely shaped brows in an instant! Very few people have even realised my brows aren't 'real' either :)
