Really? because it puts me in mind of one of those wee bags you use to put washing powder in.sorry.

"Mesh cape"? hmm

Actually it looks nicer than the name suggests, and it's not a cape at all.

Honestly - it is lovely!

laundry net

Looks like lots of holes sewn together.

Glad you like it - doesn't matter what we think

hackett

CybilsLiberty Wed 22-Jun-11 19:26:02

Yes I can imagine that

But I prefer the tan colour personallement

ilove Wed 22-Jun-11 19:34:45

It isn't a cape, it has sleeves - it is heavy not flimsy, and nothing like a laundry net shock

ilove Wed 22-Jun-11 19:35:10

I wanted white to go over strappy dresses, but I am tempted by the tan one too!

RichTeaAreCrap Wed 22-Jun-11 19:49:48

the tan one would look nice with a top under it and jeans.

Soups Wed 22-Jun-11 21:22:07

I like it, there's quite a few things like that on the high street a the moment.

TrilllianAstra Wed 22-Jun-11 21:24:10

I'd hope you'd wear a top under it RichTea! grin

Or her nippules might poke out !!

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie Wed 22-Jun-11 21:33:29

Oh dear; don't like that at all. Sorry but it reminds me of those awful day-glo string vests that people wore in the eighties.

animula Wed 22-Jun-11 21:47:48

I quite like it. I had something similar (in black, longer sleeves, holes slightly diff.) from Benetton in the early 90s and it was my favourite piece of knitwear ever. It was versatile. So "neeerrr" to the haters!!

I like it OP, -it looks lovely, I love those sort of capey/poncho sort of styles - very easy to wear.
