I desperately in need of a new style and have no idea where to go...never done my hair in London.
Asked in a previous thread about hairdressers in Hampstead but guess nothing really good is around, so I'm now open to anywhere in London, as long as it's good :)
Please leave me your suggestions!!

HOB (hair on Broadway) are a good chain. I've used the one in Temple Fortune (on finchley Rd, about half a mile south of golders green station. They're expensive but good, ask for Gemma.

How strange - I replied to your original post. Now that you're considering going further afield I'm recommending Hob too - the same one.
Mondays for halfprice colour (if you get a cut and blow dry too).

The guy that cuts my hair is really good. His name is Naoki and he works at Shine Hollistic Salon on Stoke Newington High St.

I love Mowgli in Primrose Hill.

And if you are interested in Hob there's one in Camden (on Lock) if more convenient for you than others mentioned.

moragbellingham, thanks for the response to the previous post, I remember you suggested Enry Iggins, but I heard pretty bad stuff about them, so was afraid to go.
Same with mad lillies, etc, so decided to broad my area and see if you ladies had more suggestions.
I'm always quite afraid to trust my hair into some unknown hands!!!

Hob sounds quite good actually...guess I will give it a try, thanks!

Aveda salons are fantastic. Less of a hairdressing experience, more like spas. I have never had a bad haircut from them and leave so chilled out. No dance music, gossiping, sales, anything. Pure bliss. Currently overseas and miss them badly.
