Mulberry Daria satchel

Does anyone have a Daria in oak? I'm tempted to go for one of these as a birthday present? I love the oak colour but my Bayswater is oak so it might be a bit boring to have both in oak I guess...

Does anyone know if JL will be selling the oak as a new season colour, they had the horrid coral for spring/summer so I'm hoping the black and oak will be their winter colours.

My bays is oak, my alexa is oak and my mitzy is oak, can you see a patern emerging!!!!!!!Grin. I love oak, it goes with everything. Its classy and easy on the eye. I look out for jl stock . Im hoping they are going to sell the polly or the taylor. I am not a lover of the daria (no offense). Hopefully though jl will get the colours you like in the autumn stock.

No offence either, but I really don't get the Daria. I don't like lots of 'gold' metalware at best of times but I really don't understand why people would want to pay a lot have a handbag with a large shiny gold disc with a mulberry tree on it. For that sort of money, I'd want something subtly classy.

But we all have different tastes and, if people love them and get lots of pleasure from them, then go for it. Must admit I'm a pretty extreme 'silver not gold (unless it's very pale/distressed )person' - just my personal taste (and colouring).

PS do realise you were asking advice on colour, not style, so apologies - the oak is definitely a great colour.

I'm still deciding betweem a choc Bay and the Daria. I like the satchel idea to keep my hands free. However I want something really classic (hence my first choice of oak Bay)

I'm not keep on the big disc either. Mainly because I think it would scratch really quickly!

You cant go wrong with a bays. They will always keep their value. They are classy and gorg. Yummy choc sounds delightful. I have the oak printed bays and black spongy bays. I dont usually do black bags but i made an exception for the bays.

Yeah I'm really not keen to black bags. The black Bay just looks so very formal. Like I would need to take it to work if I had a job

I always thought that re black bays, formal, a bit heavy looking, but it can also look quite the opposite. And it does when you dress down.

Hmm maybe i'll have another look then. The choc just seemed softer to me. I just don't know if 2 bays is overkill..... But then again can you really have too much of such a good thing Grin

You can never have too much of a good thing Smile. However i was looking at buying the chocolate alexa (i have the oak) and yet i couldnt justify it and i dont love it enough and yet i was happy enough to by bays no 2. The chocoate bays is gorg though, i would definately go for it.

I can't get an alexa. I'm just not wiling to spend that much money on something named after a T4 presenter. I actually like the bag and might well have got it, but being called Alexa and knowing who it's after has ruined it for me. I feel it'll really date because it's named after her, let's be honest, she is no Jane birkin!

I saw her in oxford street a few months back. Weighed down with designer carrier bags. She is skinny and plain and looks pretty insignificant. I just dont get the fuss over miss chung.Confused
