Both myself and my DD have very thick, wavy hair. My daughter came home from the hairdressers last week, after having a cut and blow dry. Her hair looked amazing, very straight, sleek, shiny and stayed that way for 3 days !!!

Well since then, we have bought every product on the market I think to try to reproduce the look. From the cheap to the expensive, the last think we have tried is this:

The instructions say 10-15 sprays, nope we've even been upto 30 sprays, still not working :-(

Anyone have any ideas, tips or recommendations please??

Thanks :-)

I think it's about the blowdry, not the product IYSWIM. Have you tried the Babyliss Big Hair?

No RamblingRosa,

We thought it would be the products we use, we have even bought the matching shampoo & condition that goes with the above frizz-ease, still not working.

I thought the Big Hair was for creating volume not sleek shiny straight hair??

Thanks for replying though xxx

Yep, I think the blow dry plays an enormous part. I've never got my hair to look sleek, shiny and straight, but hairdressers have managed it.

Did they blow dry her hair pulling it straight with a brush and pointing the hairdryer down the hair?

Yes MissHonkover I think they did xxx

I never thought of that ....

Thanks x

I have hair like you.

It's mainly in the blow-drying. I use a tiny bit of frizz ease on my rough dried hair, then try to pull it straight with a brush as I blow dry it, pointing the hairdryer down on the hair as MissH says. Tricky to d on yourself. Then a little GHDing.

My friend, who swears her hair is like mine (though not even half as thick, lucky her) has the most gorgeous, glossy straight hair - she swears by straight from wet straightners.
