I've tried it on and couldn't see why people were raving about it. I have a simulate dress from topshop that is much more flattering and nicer material.

What is the jersey like? Is it heavier than 'normal'?

Does it not make your bottom look all lovely and emphasise your waist? You've got a duff one then! :) Then again, I looked in the Selfridges sale last night and was distinctly underwhelmed by them this time. Does anybody know when the White Company sale starts? They are not as glam/exciting as Viv but I think the jersey is better quality.

I think it depends on baby shape. I ordered and tried one with great expectations, but as a pear with a small waist I just didn't find it that flattering.

Post a headless pic and we'll tell you too! I was really nervous when I got mine as I am curvy and blobby but I posted a pic on here (was v v scared to do so) and people were v kind. Now I love it and don't care what anybody else thinks! :) It has been worth every penny because I must have worn it at least once a week since buying it.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 16/06/2011 22:11

It's dead easy to handwash too and dries quickly with no need for ironing unless you're v fussy (which I, clearly, am not).

Once a week?!! Is party related for me. To clingy for work.

I bought pink one and was tres disappointed. Pissy material, and no real shape to it. Think 2 janice dresses from phase 8 were far better quality and much more flattering. Was wrong length on me too ( am only 5"2)

My Janice one has a hole in so I don't rate the quality. :(

My VW isn't quite as slinky as your one - it has tiny fluttery sleeves and a flirtier skirt. I wear it with a t-shirt under or a cardi over and with boots etc, as well as wearing it just in its own right.

Mine. Is SEXY. NO. Doubt.

I've got this from all saints and it is great as a drapey/clingy dress. It looks much better /less weird on than in the pic and the fabric is heavy and hides a multitude of sins. I know there are all saints haters galore here but worth looking in there for basics sometimes.
