i have used it four times now. the hairdresser said i would notice my hair a lot softer and smoother after the first wash. but i cant see any difference at all. there is a pump attachment with the bottle so i put it on and only pump once into my hand and rub it through the mid and ends of my hair. should i be seeing a difference yet?

When I saw the words Morrocan Oil, I had to respond!

I bought it a few months ago and now my hair is amazingly softer and easier to manage. I have pretty long hair, and it's very straight, but used to get so tangled after washing that I couldn't get a comb through it.

I know it sounds like a Sales pitch, but this stuff really has transformed my hair!

I don't know what hair type you have, but I would definitely persist...

Hope that helps.

mine is long (mid back)and quite thick. dried naturally it is wavy. it is in good condition anyway but it has been better in the past so thought i'd try the oil. how long until you noticed the change?

Hi Booy, are you using it each and every time you wash? I didn't notice it immediately, it was gradual for me - my hair didn't need a brush through at lunch time as it was still sitting straight and untangled, then it felt really soft and now it's a desrt island product.

I was my hair every day and it was probably after a week or 10 days that I thought "Oh yeah!". It's not like when you try FrizzEase for the 1st time iyswim. Theres no as your jaw drops, just a growing improvement in texture, softness and condition.

You may need 2 pumps with that much hair tbh. Mine is fine and shoulder-length and I use 1 pump.

I got the pure stuff from Morocco but I must be doing it wrong because I find it makes the roots greasy. Im not convince by it tbh. How much does it cost in the uk?

Chickychick - Moroccan Oil is the brand name for this range of products that contain argan oil. You can buy it from some hair salons or on the net. There are loads of other hair oils that contain argan oil eg. here and here.

you should only put it in the ends of your hair if you use it and not up near the scalp I'd imagine and not too much , then you probably wouldn't get greasy roots. It has a lot of silicon in it, longer term not good IMO. I wouldn't use it for that reason

i've got plain argan oil from a french supermarket, just a tiny bit rubbed into palms and then through middle ends of hair is great. Then i bought Moroccan Oil Light and its got bloody silicone in it which is really annoying.

fishie Was the argan oil near the cooking oils? If not, where did you find it? I've looked in France and got sidetracked by pain au chocolat couldn't find it...

My hair is fine with silicons. Just make sure you use a clarifying 'poo every once in a while (or Fairy Liquid)

I hope the stuff from the source hasnt got silicone in it. I will start using it just on the ends of my hair then. I reacted badly when it touched my skin. Im surprised how cheap it is here, the way you lot talk about it, I thought it must be like gold!!! Smile its three for two in Boots.
