Fake eyelashes - who has 'em and how much are they
It depends what kind you have. You can get individual inserts for about £10 but extentions are much more, about £130 plus for the first set and it takes about an hour and a half. They are high maintenance and need refills every 2 weeks for about £30 a time. Ive had both and dont particularly rate them as treatments go (would much rather spend money on a facial). I also dont think the extentions are superior enough in appearance to justify how much more they cost than inserts.
I suppose though they'd look good for a special occasion such as a weekend wedding etc. If I had inserts how many do you need and do they price per lash? Do they look much better than mascara? - although my eye-lashes are so thin and my eye-bags so bad that mascara doesn't look great on me anyway.
I don't think they are the solution as they are high maintenance, don't work with glasses, can be annoying, are expensive and need a master technician. I think your time and money is best spent on strip lash falsies, boots eyelure are good and mastering the art of putting them on- for nights out / special occasions. Lisa Eldridge does a good tutorial.
