Please help me find some high waisted, flat fronted, non ugly, non expensive trousers.

I have some jeans along these lines but skinny that I bought in New Look. I love them but they're just a bit too low waisted. These seem to be the only sort of trousers I can wear that disguise my c-section overhang. I have some high waisted jeans and trousers but the zip and button area quickly start to push forwards to emphesise my less than svelte stomach. Can anyone suggest anything please? Smile I'm thinking more these than these.
Thankyou for any help.

These any good? I've got a lot of friends who swear by them, although they are quite wide in the leg.

Can't link as I'm on my phone but try Tara Starlet and Heyday Clothing. Both have websites. I have some from Tara Starlet and they are very flattering.

Grin They look really nice! I knew the answer was waiting for me on this board. I'll have a proper look at them tomorrow when I don't have a whinging baby to contend with.

I don't know where you live, but they stock them in Vivien of Holloway on Holloway Road in London, in case you wanted to try them on, rather than just buying them online.

Do Vivien's stock Heyday then? I thought they did their own version so am surprised by that. The VoH ones I've tried made me look rather chunky in comparison to the Tara Starlet ones but they do look great on other people so worth a try.

It's lucky most of Vivien's clothes don't seem to be cut right for my shape as I live about 15 mins walk from the shop, so would be considerably poorer if that weren't the case!

HavingKittens I've not been in there since I picked up all my bridesmaids dresses last Feb, because as a rule I make my own stuff, but I was sure they stocked them then. I could as my friend Fleur- she's one of the Heyday models, and has done some work for VoH in the past, so she'd probably know.

Small world! I know Fleur too, I've done her make up.

You two are weird! Thanks for the tip but I live in Birmingham. Do you happen to know how good either of them are with returns?

Online sellers generally have to be good about returns due to it not being possible to try stuff on.

I know they should be but I've heard of companies being difficult about refunding postage (even though they have to) or taking weeks to refund your money.
I'm still really torn. I think I prefer the Tara Starlet ones but the Heyday ones are cheaper and they're still more than I was hoping to pay.
