need smart heeled shoes size 8

I spend most of the Summer in flipflops, but I really need something to smarten myself up.
I am having real trouble finding shoes that fit and are comfortable.
Ideally looking for sandals with a bit of a heel, or espadrille heels
not too high

have you got wide or regular width feet? i'm a size 8 in shoes and i have loads of nice comfy shoes, if you're looking for comfort, the wider the heel, the comfier the shoes. i sometimes get them from evans as they are wide fitting and very comfy! not sure if you're into wedges but they are great for adding a bit of height whilst maintaining the comfort.

they are quite good value

and they are down to £15

might not be your cup of tea but just some ideas

i think they are probably wider than average.

those court shoes just look like agony to me, i have never had shoes like that that are comfy

the strappy ones are ok, but was thinking a bit fuller round the front, maybe with open heel?

I'm useless at this!

i bought these in black
thinking they would go with everything and they are excrutiatingly painful. I wore them last week and still can't feel my toes

right, so like a slingback? like the ones you've got?

www.clarks.co.uk/find/department-is-women/producttype-is-sandals/product-is-20343462

they look like they would be very comfy, the heel is not very high and somewhat of a wedge, i'm usually on a budget so i'd consider them quite pricey but i have had clarks before and they're usually really good quality, hth x

Next is a great place for size 8's. I have massive feet (sometimes a size 9) & find that Next shoes always fit me & rarely hurt. They've got these which are really comfy & only £26.
