I found perfect skinny jeans

Levi's demi curve ID.

I think there was a thread about them already, but still...went to buy my first pair of jeans after pg (in fact I think it was the first item of clothing and pg was 2 yo) and so I went, thinking that I'll have to try on lots of different cuts etc.

But no. The first pair fit perfectly. And no waistband sticking away in the back iyswim which I remember was always a problem.

Perfect. Just perfect.

Though I would share with you all Grin

Can I be a bit forward and ask what size and shape you are? I always get the gaping waistband at the back too. However my tummy makes up for my back deficit IYSWIM.

Well, I used to be an 8, but after my second pg am 10-though weirdly can fit in some 8-sized things and also some size 12 fits well Hmm.

Most of the weight gain is in my stomach area, sadly (oh, if it only were in my dead-looking breasts!), but still am not an apple. Height 5'8".

The demi curve fit snugly over legs and bum and waist. I mean, really a perfect fit! I got a W27 and L34.

Honestly, I've bought lots of jeans in my life, some high street, some designer, and it's the first time that they actually properly fit.

I think they also have slim or straight curve for people with less waist and bold curve for people with properly round arses.

Wow - congrats! Jeans buying is the most joyless task ever, so nice to hear a positive story Grin

I've read about these, but don't think they do them in my size, sadly (16/18).

I have the gaping back thing with just about every pair of trousers I've ever tried on It's a common thing, so why don't those bastard manufacturers SORT IT OUT! Angry

Hmm. Just had a look and it seems that it goes up to W33- supposedly that's size 16? Or a bit less?

Silly.

I might try them again when I reach my target weight.

Have been tempted by these for a while.

winnybella - where did you get them from, a Levis store, or a department store?

I tried some the other day and they were a little low waist for me, maybe I tried the wrong fit.

I have been tempted by the Levi curve jeans, but have found them too low waisted for me. I hate low rise jeans and find them too uncomfortable. I have some Curvy jeans from Gap instead.

Do the Levis come in different leg lengths? I'm usually about a 30in leg and I don't want to have to spend more getting them taken up...

I think they do. Have a look on their website.

Well, I wore them today for the first time and so far so good. They are quite low-waisted, but they stop above the bum crack when I sit/bend over. Very comfy, too.

I also bought a pair recently from the Next Directory. Got the demi curve in 30Short (Im 12/14 and 5'3") and these are the most flattering, comfy jeans I've ever worn.

The price tag of £80 made me squeal a bit but I think they're worth every penny. Only downside was that the dye kept transferring to everything until at least the fifth wash, so be warned!!

They do skinny, straightleg and bootleg styles in three different fittings to suit your arse curves and come in various lengths so you're bound to find one that suits you.

a curvy jean is for real women who have waists and hips, not straight up and down figures. My waist is 12 inches smaller than my hips and most jeans gape at the waist, so hooray for these companies who make jeans for women shaped women and not men shaped women.

ahaaa gotcha bunbaker. I always have the problem of either not being able to get them over my thighs or they fit but the waist is massive. Will look them up bec am in desperate need of a new pair of jeans Grin

Just to confirm these ARE the best jeans ever!

After years of hunting for a pair of skinny jeans that I can actually wear - I've found them.

I got the slim curve!

Love them [happy]
