I have used my nappy bag everyday for the last 2 and a half years and am sick of the sight of it.

Has anyone seen a nice one?

There are usually lovely ones in john lewis.

Oioi do nice ones, I've got a lovely black & white one and it looks exactly the same as it did when I bought it (on the outside at least )

Oh LOVE that Woodhen.

I have this one in red and love it, you can take the lining out to wash and it will do as a large handbag/laptop bag once DS is out of nappies, I did buy it when he was a couple of months old to make it a good investment!

at the Gucci, I'd love that getting covered in puke & poo!

HollyBollyBooBoo Wed 02-Feb-11 14:35:23

And a bargain too Woodhen, it's still £75 on John Lewis website!

HollyBollyBooBoo Wed 02-Feb-11 14:36:12

I know, I was taking the mickey a bit really, but I have seen people with them and am a bit jealous!

Does it need to be a nappy bag.

I never bothered with DD 2, just bought an oversize leather bag....much more stylish and just as practical.

I think I saw some really fun ones in Paperchase. It all depends on how funky or how stylish you want to be.

I always just chose a lovely bag that was the right size and used that. You can get nifty inserts that hold nappy and wipes.

Tass and madam talk sense, treat yourself to a nice bag that will do the trick for both of you.

I was also sick of the sight of my change bag after 2 DS so I've just bought the Lin & Leo baby bug bag which is just big enough to hold one bottle for DS1 and a couple of nappies / wipes and a bib & spoon. I keep this at the bottom of the buggy and then have a nice handbag for my stuff.

look here bargain reduced to £15

madammecholet Wed 02-Feb-11 16:00:23

thank you balloonballs can you email my DH that too.wink

With DD I started with one of the Lin & Leo large leather bags. Lovely but too big once she didn't need bottles and spare babygros lugging around. But then too small once we got into the porta-potties. And the lining stained. Still, I sold it on eBay for a good price!

Almost everyone I know bought one of the OiOi Mini Changing Bags (like this www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+Brands-OiOi-OiOi-Mini-C hanging-Bags+A7646 but I got a nicer print) and just popped that into a large bag or under the buggy.

Currently pg with DC2 and am seriously tempted by the Anya Hindmarch www.blossommotherandchild.com/accessories/retail/o akley_changing_bag/65494/ although am shock about the price and would need to do some serious saving for it.

I bought an OiOi too mum295...it was huge though, so I sold it on ebay and bought a smaller version...same concept, smaller for my bag.

Ive got a gorgeous bag from e-bay from a lady that makes them. Am hopeless with links but her user name is:-ellieandollieuk.

Its made of oilskin material so completely waterproof and has loads of pockets inside.

Think mine was £20 and I absolutely love it. Have had loads of comments on it as its quite unusual but practical and cheap!

I have a Storksak Suzi - love it!

beijingaling Wed 02-Feb-11 17:42:04

Storksak Elizabeth

beijingaling Wed 02-Feb-11 17:44:51

Also look at isoki

spongefingerssavedmylife Wed 02-Feb-11 17:51:04

I just use a large leather squashy handbag (happens to be Boden, I don't think they do the particular make anymore). Ziplock freezer bag for the nappies and wipes. I take a clean tes towel if I might need a mat(but normally don't bother).

Woodhen Wed 02-Feb-11 19:15:51

I love a good change bag and the cheaper than chips cost of that Pink Lining One meant I could justify that and the three others i have!!!! wink two Oi Oi and two Pink Lining grin

tattycoram Wed 02-Feb-11 19:42:30

tea towel, that's a good idea, I'd never thought of that
