Anyone like to recommend their favourite Jewellers?

Hello everyone,
I love handmade jewellery and my birthday is coming up very soon. I am looking at either an Alex Monroe necklace or a Michael Michaud peapod.

But then it struck me that the wise and wonderful ladies of S&B must know lots of jewellers I am not aware of....and in the interest of research please let me know who you like!

Thanks!

diana porter

though not sure if your taste given your other suggestions?

I know her, she is FAB and really passionate about her work, and will do commissions as well as off-the-shelf stuff.

Hi aquavit,
thanks for that link, I know her work alright and like it but don't have any of it. My friend has (or lar least had, haven't seen her wear it in ages!!) a ring of hers and it was lovely and solid and chunky.

I actually like all different styles, I love the Dazzle show and jsut looking at all the different work.

Sorry ILoveTiffanys, not my cup of tea at all Smile

Falsemessageoflethargy - that link looks fun, will have a proper look later. As I said I love all sorts of jewellery, I find it very, very soothing to look at nice jewellery websites, sadly dh find it a bit less soothing when he sees what I am looking at Grin

God sorry have just realised this wasn't a free for all on naming favourite jewellers of all time but a request for some ideas in possibly slightly more reasonable than my recommendation. sorry!

How about these? I have always found Pia to be very good quality and they do some interesting pieces.

No Emo76...it is EXACTLY a free for all on naming favourite jewellers that I wanted, as I said I LOVE looking at jewellery and have stuff in all price brackets myself.

thanks for posting the links, off to have a drool over them now Smile
