i like it, dd is 5, i buy quite ablit of the Yumi stauff from John Lewis, it wears well, that one makes a change from pink (dd also a lover of all things pink and sparkly)

I love it, but the I love all things girly and live vicariously through others as DD hasn't voluntarily worn anything girl like since she turned 2.

arentfanny - you can borrow my dd if you like- her idea of a nice dress is a full length tutu or a bridesmaid dress, every time we go in John Lewis she pleads for a bloody brides maid dress!

Nancy that would be lovely, we have been toing with the idea of number 3 to get a girly Agnes, on th eplus side DS age 2.5 was boucning on the trampoline this afternoon in a pink princess dress and was very happy.

lol nancy my dd does that too, theres a bridesmaid dress in there covered in sparkles she really wants it, ive even considered getting her one for a party we have in march, but dont know if thats a bit bonkers! lol

yep, they must have been seperated at birth! her perfect outfit would be the fluffy cape, the bridesmaid dress and a pair of sequin hello kitty shoes she saw in hennes (accessorised with as many plastic flowery necklaces as possible) when i asked her where she would go in the dress she suggested the park!

I bought my DD an "uttam" dress which are similar to yumi, got it in TK Maxx for £12. Worth having a look!

thanks for the advice, i'll show her it on the computer and if shes says she likes it, i'll order it.

for spring summer, im going for less clothes but nicer stuff as i find dd has her favourite things that she always wants to wear, and some things she has don't get really even get worn.
so im going for less clothes but stuff she will really like

animula, thanks, the girlyness is rather a shock to me, as i never ever played fairies or anything like that when i was a child as i was the only girl i think.

Well I think technically it was a curtain. She was SuperDuperGirl you see. She was rescuing Mike (one of a host of imaginary friends) from the Flobadob space alien who was about to eat him.

I think I was playing the part of the space alien and was poked with a judging stick (a coat hanger) and 'judged to death'.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. She takes after her father.
