Help! High Rise jeans size 14/16

My Principle jeans now have holes in them.
I a hippy chick (meaning I'm wide) I like my clothes fitted. I hate the gap at the back in most low rise jeans and I want the jeans to hold my tummy in until I lose the weight Sad I don't want M&S jeans as they give me camel foot look Sad
Anyone wearing the perfect jeans for me? Smile

There are a couple of men's styles that work well on ladies which are high rise and straight leg. One is Wrangler Texas which are also stretch which is helpful, the other, Levis 751.

I used to wear men's jeans and they fit around the waist wonderfully. Then one day a friend took a photo of me from behind and I looked like a bloke. So thank you but I need something with a bit more shape. men's jeans are good for housework and when you are very very skinny!

My DP surprised me with some Calvin Klein high rise ones.
It's not normally my cup of tea but they are VERY comfortable.

They should be fine for a size 14/16 too.

I tried their website to find a link but it's driving me insane. One of these style over substance sites!

I'd recommend Levis 627, straight fit high waist.

Would never have gone for these but bloke in shop suggested i try them. Have already bought another pair and have had lots of compliments .

They also come in half sizes, so you can get a size 15 if you want. Also you can choose the leg length (i was getting sick of jeans that dragged in the dirt)

More pricey than my old gap ones (75 i think), but well worth it as i wear them so often.

By the way - no camel toe with these either. I double checked and dh confirmed. Do try them on if you have a shop near you. John Lewis and other places stock them too.

627s are nice too, I bought a pair last week in the sale for £37. I'm worried that this means they're being discontinued though as they are one of my favorite styles. The others I mentioned are a little higher on the waist.

I know mens' jeans aren't always flattering but I must say I've had compliments whilst wearing the Levis 751s and when I've disclosed that they are mens' jeans the response was "blimey, you wouldn't know it. They make you look very shapely." I am not skinny myself. I'm a bit of an apple shape though so although my hips are 40" there is not a massive waist to hip ratio. The Wrangler ones, I tried on the other day and they were a similar fit to the Levis with quite a bit of stretch which I would say lends itself rather well to the female form and made my backside look a lot better than it does in some women's jeans, which make me look like I have a flat arse. I have quite a 40s/50s feminine look and try to be glamorous, even in jeans. I am by no means a tomboy so I promise I'm not recommending anything that will make you look like a slob or a geezer.

Boden straight legs work wonders for me (Im a 16). Nice dark wash, straight but not too skinny leg and high enough to hold the tummy in. Love em
