Please help with my long hair! Can I use BaByliss big hair?

My hair is very long (to my elbows, at least) and very thick. I don't have bangs or anything. I am truly at wits end to know what to do with it. All my new hair since baby is pretty wavy, but not curly. Any tips on how to style that so the curl stays in well? Also, I am loving the idea of BaByliss big hair, but not sure if mine is too long for the rotating brush. Anybody with long hair try it? I usually end up putting my hair up, because I don't know how to make it look nice down. Please help!

i have long hair but thin, bought the babyliss big hair two weeks ago and it didnt work for me at all and my hair gets stuck. I need to get round to cutting fringe and renewing layers in order to make it work for me. I expect its also condition of my hair as others have had great luck!!
maybe if you cut some long layers and try straightening then curling in(with straighteners) if youve got thick hair would be nice. you might have success with "big hair"

My hair is about the same length and curly and it works fine for me.

I do have to do it in sections tho, takes about 20 mins but worth it cos my hair looks soooooo bloody fab!!!

I only use a bit of serum, either john frieda or tresemme have a pretty good one.

I've got a lot of hair but its very fine so although it looks thick it's not, ifswim?

Thanks chipped . Does it sort of smooth your curls, and make it more strait with curled ends? Do yo ever use anything for curls?

yes, it makes it straighter but not like if you do it with straighteners and it has lovely wavy curls near the ends.. bit like cheryl cole stylee but less bouffant if that makes sense?

I get a lot of compliments for it when I do it

Sorry to hijack the thread, but do you think I could use the BBH on my chin length inverted bob? I hate struggling with a round brush to get it to curve under and get enough volume at the crown.
