What, the fox hat?

wahwahwah Wed 22-Dec-10 11:29:24

Maybe for people with large furry heads.

Yulephemia Wed 22-Dec-10 11:29:25

I have a big furry hat. Well part furry, mainly knitted. Love it. Can't hear people talking when I wear it though

ItsKurriiiistmas Wed 22-Dec-10 13:31:31

I am liking the sound of these hats, - I have a large furry head - can someone link to a picture please?

Yeah, I saw a woman the other day with one. She wouldn't have looked out of place guarding Buckingham Palace. It was a monster.

minko Wed 22-Dec-10 13:36:16

Oh whoops, cross post!

KnottyJustForChristmas Wed 22-Dec-10 13:36:41

KnottyJustForChristmas Wed 22-Dec-10 13:37:20

Like to see them worn at the palace.

ItsKurriiiistmas Wed 22-Dec-10 13:58:26

KnottyJustForChristmas Wed 22-Dec-10 13:59:42

BelligerentYhoULE Wed 22-Dec-10 14:08:11

DD1 has bought dd2 one for Christmas - she is going to love it, allegedly.

Pinkjenny Wed 22-Dec-10 14:09:40

My ds has one which he refuses to wear. He's only one and even he thinks they're ridiculous.

LynetteScavo Wed 22-Dec-10 14:15:14

Ooooh, I want one! where can I get one? Now one around here has one; we are sooo behind the times n the midlands.

catinthehat2 Wed 22-Dec-10 14:16:52

I like that orange one A LOT.

wahwahwah Wed 22-Dec-10 14:17:22

I just saw a girl walking down the street with one. I just kept thinking'head up a badgers bum'.

purplepeony Wed 22-Dec-10 14:23:13

I bought a Russian Dr Zhivago furry hat from j Lewis but returned it- it was cute but i am short and it made me look like a mushroom - all head and no body.

rowingboat Wed 22-Dec-10 18:06:51

I only have knitted hats, but I like the sound of the 'not being able to hear people talking' furry hat.
Very useful property. I could subtly pop it on when I see somebody I don't like listening to smile

Good spot, Riven. I was walking through central London yesterday, and they are everywhere.

How do people know? It's obviously mad, cold weather-related, but how did people know to run out and get kitted out in something so improbable? so quickly? And where were they all sold from? Did topshop rush in a huge order from Russia, or something?

rowingboat Wed 22-Dec-10 18:15:28

Are you sure these people are wearing hats? Perhaps they have just grown their facial hair to protect them from the cold.

They are fab and very very warm.DH bought me one from Russia and I'm a complete convert.I have had loads of people ask me where they can get one from.I didn't realize that they wearing them in that London too,I'm obviously ahead of my time despite being from the midlands.grin
