I'm turning 40 this year Biscuit and I have to change my make up box. I don't use make up alot but I like to wear blusher. I need something muted, not sparkly, a bit matt. I have light olive skin and brown hair. Anyone can recommend a brand that they like and would suit 'mature' skin - Blush thanks?

yy - the pot rouge is very good - I am light olive skin and use 'blushed rose'
I also have a powder blush from them which is 'tawny' which adds a nice natural colour.

Yup, Bobbi Brown pot rouge for me too - and I'm certainly 'mature'! Also like By Terry Blush Veloutée - generally prefer a cream to a powder.

Cream is far easier to use than powder, and much more flattering for more mature skins. I like Bobbi Brown, and Bloom does a lovely range of cream blush.

Bobbie Brown too but still use the powdery one in Nectar although really like the cream one look more vivid than it is
am also light olive skinned, green eyes light brown hair

I have the BB pot rouge in a peachy coral colour- i am fair. it's okay but hard to get it just right i find- I tend to look overly made up.

Don't you find that cream blusher disappears into your skin? I do and my skin is not oily or dry.

I like Laura Mercier powder blushers- they have some very subtle shades- and also Clinique powder blusher.
