blusher - please help me

I'm turning 40 this year and I have to change my make up box. I don't use make up alot but I like to wear blusher. I need something muted, not sparkly, a bit matt. I have light olive skin and brown hair. Anyone can recommend a brand that they like and would suit 'mature' skin - thanks?

i have found boots no 7 blushers absolutely fine - i dont spend a fortune on blusher. foundation - yes. blusher - no! so boots does just fine for me and im around your age....they do some nice shades.

yy - the pot rouge is very good - I am light olive skin and use 'blushed rose'
I also have a powder blush from them which is 'tawny' which adds a nice natural colour.

Yup, Bobbi Brown pot rouge for me too - and I'm certainly 'mature'! Also like By Terry Blush Veloutée - generally prefer a cream to a powder.

Cream is far easier to use than powder, and much more flattering for more mature skins. I like Bobbi Brown, and Bloom does a lovely range of cream blush.

Bobbie Brown too but still use the powdery one in Nectar although really like the cream one look more vivid than it is

I have the BB pot rouge in a peachy coral colour- i am fair. it's okay but hard to get it just right i find- I tend to look overly made up.

Don't you find that cream blusher disappears into your skin? I do and my skin is not oily or dry.

I like Laura Mercier powder blushers- they have some very subtle shades- and also Clinique powder blusher.
