What Are We Wearing Today- subtitled More Wool Than A Sheep...
Long sleeve white tee Cami underneath (eargerly awaiting heattech tops I ordered earlier this week!) Grey cashmere scoop-neck jumper Denim mini Opaques with black leggings over Socks and furry grey slipper boots Silvery sparkly scarf
Central heating on Fire lit.....and yes, I'm still cold too
i have just had lunch early purely in the interests of warming up
glad you could join me, stylish ladies.
dd finishes her last morning of school today before starting fulltime on monday - i had promised to take her for cake in town...she's not going to be fobbed off is she...<<dons sleeping bag with hole cut out for feet>>
Wearing extra long leggings, extra long vest and long sleeve tee (all Topshop) under my indigo skinnies (River Island) and grey sweater dress-type thing (Primani). Tall chestnut Uggs on my feet (haters can hate - they are bloody toasty!). Need a good chunky knit cardi, though.
I am wearing a thermal vest, long sleeve Boden tee, ancient cashmere jumper inherited from ex-partner's mother, American Apparel unisex hoody and track pants, Bench gilet, merino mix scarf from a shop in Orkney, Brora extra long cashmere wristwarmers (very nice recent birthday present, could look good in other cirucmstances), two pairs of big socks and - the creme de la creme - a pair of hidous stained old Birkenstocks, as I've just had an ingrowing toenail removed and can't get boots or slippers on . Thankfully I am at least alone at home and not due back at work till Monday. While I'm looking on the bright side, it's fair to say I'm not actually cold - apart from my feet...
Go for it! If you can't quite stomach a grey M&S one like the one I'm sporting today, I noticed some very stylish looking thermal tops in a range of pretty colours on the Brora website. Patra also does silk vests which are a great comfy cosy lightweight extra layer next to the skin and some of their styles are quite pretty....can you tell I live in the north west highlands of scotland?!
