stylish clothes for very tall men?

Hi,

My husband is 6'6" and is quite stylish, but is constantly disappointed at the lack of nice clothes available in his size. He often has to buy what fits rather than what he really likes. Does any of you know of a brand that will do clothes in his size? He is quite slim if that helps.

My husband isn't quite as tall, but he wears lots of Gap (trousers always come in varied lengths). It's expensive, but he also loves Aubin and Wills, which is grown up Jack Wills and cut for strapping young Sloanes who are tall but have yet to acquire a paunch.

DH is 6 foot 8 and fairly slim too with a 36 inch leg. He normally gets jeans/trousers from Gap, H&M or High and Mighty (such an awful shop name btw). Or online from Walk Tall where he would order a few pairs then sends back the ones he doesn't want.

For shirts, tops etc its normally trawling the high street and seeing what fits. H&M are normally quite good. Gap, Linear etc. Walk Tall online have tops for tall people but often come up wider as well which is no good if you are slim. For work shirts, M&S sell long sleeves and also make shirts to your exact measurements for abit extra. He has got clothes from lots of shops but you has to make the effort to look. It is a pain to say the least and he normally goes shopping without me as it can be a long process.

Dh is 6 ft 8. He mostly wears Ralph Lauren polo classic tops as they are cut long. Paul smith xxl tops sometimes fit but sizing is not consistent.

His mum buys him lots from next but they tend to cut them very wide as they get bigger and he's a slim/muscular build. Next do jeans and shirts in an extra-extra-long length but he isn't fond so that tends to be a last resort although their suiting fits him well (have to order it in, have never found a store to stock the xx length sizes)

T.M.Lewin are good for shirts and Levis the best fit for jeans. For casual wear stone island and cp company cardigans and sweaters fit him really well, again sometimes next stuff fits in the xxl size but they don't wash well and rarely last more than six months of wash/wear. Some of his stone island/cp stuff he has had 8+ years and still going strong.

Coats he has a duffel from h&m which is comedy long, a next thin jacket and a Barbour quilt.

My dh won't entertain any of the big and tall shops and I often have to drag him out of Cruise when the assistant keeps bringing barely there jeans and tops. They look ok at the time but are so neat that one wash makes them too short. He has aspirations of designer clothes but the reality is 99% is not cut for his size.
